Today is National Pizza Day and we are here to help! As you may have noticed there has been a bit of a hullabaloo about the fact that we are the only place in the Greater Seattle area that always carries the Brick cheese necessary for Detroit-style pizza and that is not only great, but will be explored further on National Detroit Style Pizza Day on June 23rd—so stay tuned. But today we want to encourage you to expand your horizons.
Skyler likes pineapple, Mama Lil’s Peppers, goat cheese, and pepperoni. Our bookkeeper likes a pizza with greens, walnuts, and Tellegio. And Ari, the big cheese himself, likes a Gorgonzola, roasted red pepper, and pistachio pizza. During a misspent youth he worked briefly at a pizza place and came away with nothing more than a lifelong love for that precise pizza and a wobbly wooden handled pizza cutter. While we don’t condone petty workplace theft, we stand whole-heartedly behind coming down to the shop and exploring two out of the three pizzas mentioned above. Enjoy!
